Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Admitting there are things to work on and asking for help are sometimes the bigger hurdles in life. Once these have been cleared, I have a desire to meet clients where they are, instill hope and provide support on a journey of working towards a more full-filled self. At 15, my career in human service began, and my passion to problem solve, encourage and trial strategies remains at the forefront of my practice. Promoting growth and considering the tools necessary to guide children, teens, guardians and family units towards a more satisfied minute, hour, day, week or year is something that brings joy to my life. Laughter is critical. While at times it’s a challenge, if we pause and utilize patience, we will set reasonable expectations and seek the necessary support to achieve our goals.

Tenneille ely, lmft

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, my passion lies in coming alongside my clients as they navigate the complexities of life and the myriad of emotions that accompany this journey. I use a collaborative and gentle approach, exploring how early life experiences shape and influence your current relational health and well-being. When our life stories are filled with unresolved pain and negative beliefs about ourselves and the world, we can get stuck in a cycle of repeating the same old patterns, unaware that the very trauma we’re trying to heal from is directing our missteps. This can leave us feeling alone, isolated, and often hopeless.

It is my goal to help you return to where it all began, so we can reprocess your pain and trauma. This journey involves "restorying" your life in a way that promotes empowerment and growth. As Daniel J. Siegel, M.D. says, “When unresolved issues are writing our life story, we are not our own autobiographers; we are merely recorders of how the past continues, often without our awareness, to intrude upon our present experience and shape our future directions.”

I am dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families facing a wide range of challenges and diagnoses. My specialties include trauma (EMDR Certified), grief and loss, couples therapy, attachment and relational issues, and life transitions.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Your body was created to do amazing things and my goal is to help you heal, transform and find freedom. I am no longer satisfied with treating symptoms.

A decade ago I experienced a radical health transformation. I was exhausted, depleted, and struggling to live the life I dreamed about. I spent years trying everything conventional medicine taught me to do. I was motivated to change, but nothing seemed to work. This was not the vision I had for my life or for the life of my family. I started on a journey to find a new way forward.

What I discovered was functional medicine. Functional medicine goes beyond the surface and seeks the root cause of health dysfunction. I studied hormones, gut  gut health, nutrition, stress, immune function and adrenal fatigue. I radically changed my diet. I became excited about exercise. I began to reduce stress through good sleep habits.  I sought connection through relationships and pouring into others. I not only regained my health but found emotional freedom. I now have freedom to dream about what comes next.
