Jeanne-Marie’s philosophy is a holistic, open-minded, non-judgmental, and caring approach. She graduated with her ADN from Kirkwood Community College in 2015 and completed her BSN from Mount Mercy University in 2017. She worked in acute mental health settings, which inspired her to become a psychiatric mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She went on to graduate from Walden University Summa Cum Laude with her Master’s in Science of Nursing with specialty training as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She has 8 years of experience in healthcare, assisting individuals in hospital and clinical settings. Jeanne-Marie has been an adjunct instructor teaching mental health clinics at Kirkwood Community College and Mount Mercy University.
Jeanne-Marie listens to her patients about their concerns and overall goals by using trauma-informed care, empathy, and compassion to treat the whole person with traditional medicine and a holistic approach. She partners with her patients, striving for quality care using patient-centered and solution-based approaches to develop an individualized treatment plan. She provides assessment, diagnosis, and medication management in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. She works with a wide range of mental health disorders, such as Depression, Anxiety (Generalized Anxiety, OCD, PTSD), trauma, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), behavioral disorders, and mood disorders. Her style of practice considers the patient's overall well-being to include traditional medication management and a holistic caring approach.
