As a trained clinical physician and therapist, I am also Board Certified in Psychiatry & Neurology for over 25 years of clinical experience and previously Board Certified in Family Medicine for 10 years and have many other qualifications:

• 25 years of post-medical school experience in clinical psychiatry and primary care
• Certifying through the Institute of Functional Medicine to address root causes of physical and mental illness.
• Providing personalized medical treatment through genetic analyses of SNPs through Self Decode and Genesight to guide treatment with psychotropic medications.
• A holistic approach considers the whole person (mental, physical, and spiritual) and uses conventional and complementary therapies.
• Over 15 years of psychodynamic/psychoanalytic mentorship training.
• Over 4 years of providing ketamine-assisted psychotherapy for treatment-resistant depression and related disorders.
• Certification training through Numinus and Integrative Psychiatric Institute (IPI) Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy and Ketamine Training.
• Designation as a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association since 2014 for my recognition at a local, national, and international level for my research and educational service
