Founder Dr. Laurie McCormick is an Integrative/Holistic Psychiatrist and Family Physician. She completed her Functional Medicine certification with the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) and is certified in Psychedelic-Assisted and Ketamine Therapy through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute (IPI) and Numinus. Dr. McCormick is also an IPI Certified Psychedelic-Assisted Therapist/Facilitator.
Dr. Laurie has been facilitating ketamine assisted psychotherapy for over 5 years. She provides workshops to teach other therapists and providers how to use ketamine to treat the root causes of depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
Dr. McCormick has recently started a new clinic to focus on ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and functional medicine approaches to address the root causes of illness and reduce dependency on psychotropic medications to heal, not just treat symptoms.

Dr. McCormick graduated from medical school in 1998, completed residency training in psychiatry and family medicine, a neuropsychology fellowship, and was a tenure track clinical research scientist/assistant professor at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine for 10 years until 2013.
