Originally from Pennsylvania, Nick earned his Bachelor of Science in Biobehavioral Health from Penn State University before completing his Master of Physician Assistant Studies at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and holds the Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Psychiatry. Nick began his career in orthopedic surgery before transitioning to psychiatry, where he found he was most fulfilled by building lasting patient relationships and helping people improve their overall quality of life.
His clinical experience includes inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, psychiatric consultation for internal medicine and emergency department teams, as well as telemedicine in psychiatry, primary care, and urgent care.By drawing on his diverse clinical background, Nick approaches each patient with a broad differential diagnosis. He emphasizes understanding the whole person and carefully considering both psychiatric and medical factors when developing individualized treatment plans. Nick enjoys maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle and believes healthy habits play an important role in overall well-being. He is currently pursuing additional education in Integrative Psychiatry focused on nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and evidence-based natural supplements. His goal is to incorporate these approaches, when appropriate, into psychiatric treatment plans.
